So this post is in response to the whole Whirl-Mart business. A friend of mine showed me a video and it's somewhat related to the whirl-mart thing cause it takes place in a public place. But if you take a look at the video I feel it's more of an art form because it's take more work than to have people just walk in a line.
check it out.

flash is the future of music
So I was reading Rolling Stone and came across an article about videos. It talked about a music video online for the band The Arcade Fire. Interactive music videos. You can click around and interact with singer Win Butler's head and hands. I think all should check this out.

I have to go with Steven's Choice
http://current.com/items/76386942_steven_s_choice
What I like about this ad is that it's really simple videography with good cuts. Every time Steven makes a choice or a gesture, the cut back to the crowd and get many reactions from them all. Plus there's the girlfriend getting upset when she doesn't get picked. I really liked that part.
I thought it could totally be a successful ad. I think it almost relates to people choosing thier top 8 on myspace. People can get really upset about that whole thing. I think it could get people to consider getting that service only to prove to people that they are the most important person to them.
The audience for this ad would definetely be socialites between 18-25.
About the effectiveness of viewer ads, I believe some advertising agents have headed towards the simple solutions that have always worked in advertising. This becomes too text book and gets really boring. I think viewer created ads cut out the middle man.
